Not sure what your price cut off if for not breaking the bank, but I use the Caudalie serum and it really helped. I’m black and have had a lot of dark spots and inflammation and this really helped. On my 3rd bottle now. $49 at Sephora.
I like this and the brightening serum from Caudalie, as well as the Estée Lauder serum in the brown bottle!

So you have rosacea? Probably should check that off before making recommendations
No it’s not rosacea it’s just uneven
Go to a derm to make sure you don't have anything like rosacea, acne, etc. Sometimes a skin concern can be solved or helped by a 10 dollar cream from a doctor, so start there. Then when you know what you're dealing with, you can look for products that suit that condition.
If you don't want to do that, I hear great things about Dr. Jart's green line for redness

Check out the Asian beauty subreddit! A lot of Korean skincare uses "snail essence" for evening skin tone (sometimes misleadingly called brightening) - I have my eye on a Cosrx product
Also it cosmetics cc cream does wonders!! I’m usually red for hours after a workout or something but it helps
