Anyone have recommendations for MBA application consultants, experience stories and/or good questions to ask them during the initial chat? Thanks in advance!

MBAmission. Ask about prior experience, how they think covid will impact, talk about your goals and how they can help.

Applicant Lab! Cost effective for the starter videos to help with story building and drafting (which will replace need for many hours in-person consultant if you’re reasonably self directed) and then reasonably priced add-ons for Maria’s guidance over your materials if you want a “sanity check” or interview prep. She gave really tailored and pointed advice that really made a difference.

Heard about it through Fishbowl and can’t recommend it enough, especially after doing intro calls with SBC and a handful of other firms whose names I don’t remember. They were compelling at first but I figured that I’d do the Applicant Lab free trial and revisit the need for a separate firm...and realized that the stuff they’d said was all stuff available in the Applicant Lab free trial so went for the whole thing 😅

FWIW I spent probably $1.5K total and got interviews to all the schools I applied to except GSB! I also had colleagues and family look over my apps.

Hello Fishes,
Just a little weird question, suggestions will be helpful.
My cousin wants to enter into the IT industry but his graduation is from non Tech (B.A). So I have suggested him to persue and MBA in IT or MCA may be from distance learning will also help.
Please give suggestions which will be the most feasible way to enter the IT industry, given that he is financially not much sound but he is very smart and hardworking.

I'm not convinced strategy as we know it in the agency world is even worth it at this point. We pay lip service to it, we scope for it, we have CSOs, but at the end of the day beyond new business, it just isn't held in high esteem - and I don't mean the skepticism it's always garnered.
For every "amazing" insight that "fueled" a "human-centric communications solution", there are 15 briefs that just recycle the same insight now as clients just want the work to get done.

For large complex projects that require specific screens for every user story in Jira, how do you juggle responsive design?

My initial approach was to get approval for the desktop screens, before creating screens for tablet and mobile, to prevent rework.

What’s the best way to design for desktop, tablet, and mobile in a two week agile sprints with usability testing?

Looking for some UGC gigs. I can do unboxing and demos. Rates start at $100 for a video, and $20 per photo. which is significantly lower than others in the market. Just trying to get more content creation under my belt. I specialize in social media as a director in a marketing agency, so I know what will perform.
