What are most company standards for vacation time and PTO for a group of 25 and lower of employees? We do 5 days after 1 yr, 10 day after 2yrs 15days after 5yrs and 20days after 10yrs. PTO is accrual monthly after your first 90 days. 32-40hr average is full time, 25-32hr average is part-time.

So I received an offer from a digital start up at for a freelance long term contract. The $ was so low as I would be accountable for my own taxes and benefits that I had to request a significant increase. In my email I broke down why I was requesting more $ and where the money would go - which should be more than enough. They got back to me telling me I was rude for to ask for more money directly and should be grateful to have a job offer at all. Would they say that to me if I were a man?
