How do you treat short term portion of deferred rent when your lease is in a period where the actual rent is less than the straight like rent (so basically early on in the lease period). When I’m calculating the next 12 months of deferred rent amortization, I actually get a debit balance for the short term piece because deferred rent will be going up, not down. Help?

Hello! I need advice. I have 5 years of digital marketing, project and team management experience. I’ve been doing design work w/o realizing ux/ui was a career since the beginning. I didn’t keep record of those projects but I created a portfolio to show proof of knowledge/skill but it’s not lengthy.
