Anyone have suggestions on a career working with children and families? I have over 10 years of experience…

Probably not the right bowl for this question, as human resources is a little bit different. than human services. But if you have ten years of experience, probably look for careers related to what that experience is in. Open a daycare, direct a summer camp, run an after school program. Endless possibilities.

I feel like HR is one of the better careers for WLB. I feel like most recruiters I know are mothers and have stuck with the role for that exact reason.

I'm working in a smooth project and getting paid enough money every month.

I got a freelance opportunity from one of the small company. But in my current employment contract there is a clause I should not work anywhere else .

So now if I work somewhere else as a freelancer and getting paid to my bank account without any Agreement or PF or Pan Linked to them. My current organization will get to know any other way?

If yes, what will happen to my career. PLEASE Guide me here

Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture

Does anyone have experience recruiting statutory 1099 employees? I’ve recently interviewed with a company that recruits non W2 employees and was told I’d have to be comfortable asking questions in the interview that I might normally not be accustomed to asking W2 employees- namely their age, marital status, questions about family makeup and financial stability, etc. I was told that this was acceptable with 1099s. Any insight on this?
