Just get a baby bjorn and forget the rest.

We do! First baby and only swing so nothing to compare it to, but we’ve liked it! At first our baby hated it, but one day did a total switch and now loves sitting in it. I like that it has a timer and nice music. OnlyDownside is the mobile on top doesn’t really move unless you spin it around yourself, but it’s not really an issue. I also just personally like the look of it in our house.

Agree on Bjorn. The swings can only be used a few months before they outgrow them. Waste of money for very limited use. IMHO. I just borrowed them and he hated 1, used the other a few weeks. So glad I did spend $ on them and could just return to friends.

My baby personally didn’t like it but he also hated any swing I tried to put him in

Interviewed for 5.5 hours today at a boutique IB today. Base comp is a slight bump. 14 mos in FDD @ PwC who will make senior this CRT - love the role but want to see more of the transaction besides TBs and TB detail. Comp isn’t a huge bump but the IB seems to have a good culture. 20 people. I really am struggling. I worried about FDD golden handcuffs with limited exit ops. Please advise!!! How should I navigate this and assess it from an unbiased perspective. Thx!

Does anyone have input on an au pair? We are expecting our fourth child. So we will have four under four. I’m thinking that hiring an au pair would be more cost effective and convenient than daycare but I’d love to hear about some personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

I have an extremely difficult 2.5 year old boy. I know this is a difficult toddler age altogether but I think I’m experiencing way worse. There are frequent tantrums in public settings and it’s very embarrassing. We can’t do anything. He’s in daycare and apparently he thrives, so we just don’t get it. Should we wait it out or consult a behavior therapist?
