Nope, but if I were on the market for an electric SUV, I'd be looking very closely at the Mach E, Ioniq 5, and EV6. Just based on looks I'd take any of them hands down over a Tesla.
Have the Mach E. It’s cool, a bit glitchy (touchscreen, windows) as is any first model year vehicle. Recalls as well (windshield). Definitely lease, don’t buy. I’m sure the issues will be sorted out in the next few years for buying to make sense, or other options prove to be better value once on the market (Toyota&Lexus/Polestar/Rivian/Lucid - basically every other major player).
If you’re looking for something new and different, the Mach E is it. It’s comfortable and will make any commute not insufferable. However, just be aware it’s not perfect.
As long as you can put up with the shortcomings, the Mach-E is a fantastic EV. As a dual EV driver (Id4, Model Y) who road trips, I find myself in the Tesla far more because the charging infrastructure is just that much better. I've done a handful of trips between DC NYC and Boston in the ID4 and electrify America either works flawlessly or is infuriating. There's nothing in the middle.
Now if you're planning to charge at home and drive the car around town, the MachE is superior to the Tesla. It's quieter, rides better, and has CarPlay.
Really appreciate the insight. I’m looking to buy a car in the next year or so and love the idea of electric. This has me leaning toward a Tesla
