Anyone have thoughts on equities trading at Citadel (both the hedge funds and Citadel Securities)? Getting pinged by a few different recruiters about open roles

Equities on the securities side is very systematic. Most traders there have strong programming experience and help out with operational parts of the system

I have started thinking about life and it’s value more after this whole Covid thing. Literally we can plan all what we can .. but things happen. Covid pretty much changed how whole world operates in a way. My friends say don’t worry this is a once in lifetime thing, my point is this once a thing is going to change our normal for rest of the life.. that’s pretty long.. I have started loving more

How do you all do these job interviews while being out on the road all the time? Companies want candidates to come in for a full day but sure as hell can't do that on the road every week M-F

Is all the talk of layoffs on here a harbinger to the end of the ad agency? Or do people just like complaining? A little from column A, a little from column B?

Had a phone interview with an HM yesterday. Stumbled over my words and poorly articulated my answers. Is there anything I can do, or will doing something call more attention to it?

How common is PIP in consulting? When someone is fired in consulting, is it normally preceded by a PIP, or is that the abnormal case? (Talking firms 1000+ people)

Thoughts on Dentsu Aegis? I've received an offer for a role (promotion) and thinking about whether it is a sound move - especially in this environment. They went through furloughs and pay cuts in April due to COVID. I'd be making the move from EY which is a great company to work with - but there is such a long line up to get a promotion, and for roles I've interviewed for internally I get the good ole - you were awesome and it was rly close, but someone was just a better fit.

Worried I didn't deliver on Impact Day. Fences I painted were only OK. 1 year C, strong 3 YE, all 2 PEs, and good utilization. Should I be concerned? Time to start looking @ other firms/options?

PwC 🐠: since utilization is a requirement to get tier 1 or 2 ranking & bonus this year, is it also a requirement to get promoted, or move up in the Cohort model as opposed to just moving laterally?
