Any tips on leaving a firm “correctly”? Was about to go “of counsel” with my firm of 6 years, but then another firm whose partners I really respect (and personally like) offered me a partnership position. I predict my current bosses will *flip* (cut off file access immediately, try to beat me to calling my clients, etc.), so how do I set myself up for a successful transition?

How does the quality of analysis and deliverables compare across firms like ClearView, LEK, Trinity, Health Advances, ZS, etc.? Are some firms better overall or does it just depend on what team you happen to be working with?

Guys, motivation is at an all time low, all the associates are pissed. We’re making less than what unemployment pays out and still required to bill 200 hours. No bonuses and no idea when our salaries will go back to normal. Anyone else in a similar boat?

Got rejected after a final round for a role I was excited for and thought I had a high chance. Recruiter didn't reply and I only found out because I checked the career portal. Pretty depressing.

3YOE in consulting since undergrad - ideally looking to become a tech PM. Better chance to do so by sticking with consulting to become PM directly, or trying now for an APM job (not FAANG). Also do you think an APM job would be a pay cut?

Have the opportunity to switch jobs 3 months out of school to a role that has considerably higher compensation (better base, better bonus, good growth) but in a very niche space.  It is a space I'm interested in but I'm worried that after a few years I may get stuck if I really end up not liking it. Should I stay in a more general consulting role since Im young to explore different spaces (currently analyst in ACN Strat) or just make the jump? This feels like a huge life decision for me.
