Yep. Photography nerd here. That’s a solid camera, feel free to ask specific questions, I’ll be happy to answer.
OP, I don’t currently own any Olympus cameras, but I do use some Olympus lenses as they are interchangeable with Panasonic cameras.
Olympus is know for good build quality, and their cameras are probably some of the most compact and lightweight ones on the market. That being said their menu system isn’t the best so if you’re not coming from another Olympus camera it might take awhile to learn where everything is and master the controls. If you’re into video, their in body stabilization is best amongst all camera manufacturers. There is no question. The one downside is probably image quality at night; if you’re not going to be shooting in the dark it’s not a problem, but if you are the sensor is quite small so low light images will come out grainy.
It’s kinda hard to compare this camera vs XT30 because the Olympus came out a lot earlier, so tech wise the Fuji is stacked. I’m really biased towards Fuji right now as I shoot mostly on Fuji. I’m mostly a photo, not video person and I just love the colour science of Fuji. It’s also quite a bit more expensive than the Olympus though.
