Looking to get into photography and want to splurge on my first non phone / non point and shoot camera. I’m trying to decide between the Nikon Z50 and the Canon EOS RP. I will mostly use it for landscape, and then family friends pets in casual settings. I’m hoping to find a camera I can learn on and grow into. I don’t expect lens selection to be a major factor for me as I doubt I will carry multiple lenses - probably just one at a time. Any advice?

Between an Apple and a Samsung phone which has the best camera quality. My sisters old Samsung phone takes better pics than my iPhone 8. Perhaps newer iPhones take better pictures so I would love your thoughts. For good camera quality which phone would you advice I buy?
