I’m not having any PTSD issues, but real talk my survivor’s guilt with this is worse than it was downrange. Peers of mine who I would have described as having very secure jobs as airline executives or whatever getting laid off, on unemployment, while I’m continuing to draw full pay (our share values aren’t even down much). I think it’s a combination of how unexpected all this has been and how no one signed up for it.

Gees. Brutal. I’m glad I’m not supporting a family yet. I’m getting out of the city to see some nature, that’ll probably reset my stress level.

This is like anti deployment right now. It’s Groundhog Day, but you’re alone. Kind of like a pretty good deployment where you don’t get shot at and can watch Netflix while you work. And you can have alcohol. If you are having PTSD, is it due to lack of social interaction? Or is it being on edge when you’re outside that getting within six feet of someone is like monitoring for IEDs? If that’s the case, then yeah, I can see how some could suffer. I’m not though.

Really low (day 1 of my periods) andI’ve been stressing today on things that are outside my control. Have my birthday coming up, and i’ll be 35 soon. No bf, no man, no marriage in sight. The clock is ticking, more so as i have large uterine fibroids, so not just my parents, even my gynec wants me to hurry up. Have been alone cooped up at home for more than a year now with no end in sight thanks to COVID. Dating is bust too. So all in all really lonely. Any words of encouragement?

Have any of you taken FMLA leave due to a positive COVID case for a member of your household? My husband just tested positive for COVID and I am not sure yet if my 2 toddlers have it. In any event, even if they are healthy, they can’t go back to daycare for awhile so childcare is all on me. I’m wondering if I should apply for FMLA leave so I don’t completely crash my hours, but I am also not sure whether this situation qualifies for FMLA.

Feeling depressed because I just did a more realistic budget calculation for a March trip to Spain. B/w the need for refundable flight and hotels (I normally do airbnb and don’t care about refundable flights, and I don’t have enough miles and can only get us partial coverage at 1 hotel out of 2) plus covid tests, the trip is about $1000-2000 more/pp than I anticipated. I don’t think my SO’s gonna want to spend the money to go..Should probs look into backup intl locations 😭

Please don’t waste someone’s time asking for a referral if someone else already gave you one. Most companies won’t let you have more than one referral and all you do is eat up someone’s time that is willing to help you out.
