Haven't heard of anything although it wouldn't surprise me given advisory's performance against plan.
Nope
It's happening. I know of one FS advisory practice where the senior partner has been given free reign to let go of the under performers.
They've always had free reign to let go of under performers, and I've seen it exercised when appropriate over the past few years.
Sure. But that's contingent on putting them on a performance improvement plan which is being bypassed now - given 5 people were let go last week with no notice.
Yeah there is a difference between layoffs and being fired for cause (I.e. Being put on a PIP). I was referring to layoffs due to advisory's performance.
I hear you, I just haven't seen or heard of layoffs, only performance related
