Last week my onboarding formalities for ZS Associates like recent degree marks sheet, address, PF details etc and physical address verification for BGC was completed.
My joining is next week. What formalities can I expect this week ? Will I get the laptop before joining or after joining ?

What are all the b4 FDD practices called?
Anyone else have a spouse or partner who doesn't work in PA or corporate in general that doesn't understand how demanding the job can be? In a major fight with my wife over my work hours as of late. I'm not able to a lot of social activities right now and she feels "abandoned" (she works in non for profit)

Yes. I've seen it first hand. His promotion to partner was already announced and circulated, along with the others that were promoted to partner. It was going to take effect for about 3 months. Shortly after the announcement, he was reported via the ethics hotline of an ethical violation. I know what it was and it was actually quite small, but it went directly against what the firm has already said on the matter. He was placed on leave immediately, and fired less than 24 hours after that. It was really crazy.

Yes I've seen it too. The one I saw was for super aggressive positions that the firm find out about

I've heard of that - a senior manager was making up mileage and stuff for reimbursement, then didn't get promoted because they scrutinized their expenses and found it.
Ey1 - they always give 30 days notice of promos - so unless you are talking about 15 years ago - I call bs
