I'm 10lbs stronger on bench press when managers are in the gym, and 20lbs stronger when directors are there. Anyone?
how does your firm staff you on projects, and are there a lot of people on the bench at any given time? are people worried when they are on the bench? just want to know how it is for everyone else
How long is it acceptable to be on the bench at Accenture? Aka when will your resource manager start harassing you?
So as manager how do you deal when half your team is on bench and can’t find any other opportunities. Do you just go with flow and watch them go?
As a new joiner to the firm, how many weeks of bench time are considered ok ? And when should I start looking outside ?
Need advice for resigning while on bench. I already have a start date with the new employer. Should I do a traditional two week notice or give <=1 week notice instead? My goal is to not burn bridges, but I also don’t want to get let go on the spot since I have nothing to “wrap up” besides HR tasks. I’ve read on here that sometimes they will let you go day of and pay you out for two weeks but I don’t see why any firm would do that for somebody not currently performing billable work...
Food for thought: With so many SMs and PPMDs stuck at home with kids and no help and with so many Staff, Seniors, Consultants, etc on the bench... (cont)
1st time on the bench in 3 years. Check out demand portal: "wtf is this shit?" No wonder everyone is unstaffed and getting the boot.
Up at 4am due to anxiety from being on the bench for 2 months. Questioning what’s wrong with me and why I’m having such a difficult time getting staffed in comparison to my peers.
That moment when you walk out of a second round at a job you want, are told you're moving onto the next round, and also receive an email that you're now staffed after weeks on the bench 🙄
Totally used to long days, but back-to-back 12-14 hours RIGHT after 2 weeks of bench is killer.
What’s the longest amount of time you’ve spent on the bench? And what did you do during the time? First time on the bench after 3 years here
What’s the best way to roll off a team without blow back? These people are stressing me out
Anyone else get depressed when on the bench? 3 months and counting, can't handle it anymore :(

Fishes, I am a new joiner at EY. Got mail from Insurance team to update the dependents. Also I have added the Top Up plan of 15Lakhs for which the premium was around 25k. How is the premium deducted from salary. Is it one time or is it done quarterly. Appreciate the help on this.
My mom is going through a very bad situation with her previous employer who is not paying her her correct retirement benefits after screwing up their paperwork. She worked for a school district for about 15 years. She has a case but she is afraid it’s not high value enough to attract the attention of the attorney. School district is now ghosting her. If anyone has advice or interest, please let me know, thanks so much
I’m going to be acting manager for 18 months before the official title promotion. Should I accept that as normal?
As a new consultant... How attainable is the utilization goal in general? I know there are several factors but high level: do most people hit it?
Does anyone work fewer than 5 days and have a management role at their agency? I work 4 days and am being told it’s holding back being considered for a promotion.
Gonna start new project after 5 months on the bench. It's a miracle they haven't fired me 🙌
Would you ever do business with Trump?
Since WFH, does anyone else find it difficult to start on new projects mid-day? I feel like once I hit that afternoon slump, any type of motivation is gone. Any tips to stay afloat? 😂

Just sitting here thinking.. Dang, I got a 3% annual raise. I feel worthless to my firm. I should leave.
Fall 2021 compensation survey! Sorry for the double post. Google apparently changes the shortened link randomly. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGHoBn8qXfoS5SfcYUzxIMqscoFrLsKtk5oNYthQGCXHqmFw/viewform?usp=sf_link I'll leave the link open for a couple weeks and then compile the results.

Looking for input from indy/RIA, wirehouse, B/D, Bank, Insurance folks all in one spot. If you have $50M wrapped at 1% (let’s just assume for this purpose)... what does that equate to for total comp?
Getting a CTC of 16LPA (14+2) at Schneider Electric as SM - Marketing. Is it fine to switch to industry at an early stage or should one stay in Consulting for some more time. YOE: 1 Yr Post MBA
How many of you have heard the “well i made this when i was your age...” & how do you objectively reply to something like that? Trying to lobby for better comp... (asset management)
GT NY Folks- Tax A1 here, any insight on round tables for first year’s? People have said they generally never fire A1’s, is that true? Utilization is low so a little concerned.
