Hi - I'm looking for a referral for a family member in the LA/Orange County. Relative is a permanent resident (has been for 10+ years) and looking to apply for citizenship. Relative had a juvenile record which was expunged ( I think it matters for citizenship). They had this record before they applied for their permanent residency. I believe that people who believe the US is a terrible country cannot also be pro immigration (legal or otherwise) without violating their former belief. If you believe the US is terrible, you should not want people to immigrate here. If you want people to immigrate here you need to then honestly admit what is good about the US to make that true alongside your complaints to be fully honest. There's way to much sentiment of the US being wholly bad that is dishonest to some degree.

Why is Deloitte immigration team so difficult to deal with ? I left Deloitte cause of the immigration team and they ghost you for months every time you need documents for H1B/GC. How do you deal with this ?

If H1B extension is filed under regular processing, how much time it takes for USCIS to give a decision, provided no RFE asked? I have heard varying timelines, pls share your experience.

Hi Guys, my h1b application got approved recently. The paycheck I received today shows considerably less amount. They deducted an additional 23% for tax. Is this normal? Do you think they just deducted tax for the entire October in a single paycheck? How much additional tax do we need to pay with we change from OPT to H1B?

Hello H1B community - I apologize if someone has asked this question already, I tried looking but didn’t find much on the topic. What should I do if my status is expiring in the next month? My OPT is expiring in June and I was approved for H1B but via consular notification, not change of status. I was supposed to go to India in April for stamping but obviously couldn’t given the circumstances. Is anyone in the same boat / have any advice?
