Is severance period standard if a big firm lets you go?

Real estate is hard enough, it gets worse when your partner tells you they wish they had your properties. For some reason it felt like a threat to get me fired.

Was laid off at Deloitte Digital and looking to take this opportunity to transition into a strat/product role. I have 2 YOE and did a lot of work with Salesforce strategy / implementation.

I was laid off back in August and I have been trying to get a product/UX/UI job ever since then. With the recession and all of the crazy things that are happening right now it has been even harder.

Is anyone hiring a mid-level Product/UX/UI designer?
I have 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer and I am available to start working immediately! (Remote work is preferred since I live in Phoenix, AZ and there are not a lot of tech jobs here)

Currently a manager for an OP clinic. Gave my notice after receiving an offer back in patient care for more money and a better schedule. Spoke to my RVP today who had nothing but positive feedback. He asked for feedback on how to prep the next non-clinical manager as others in the region have been fired or underperformed. Should I be insulted he did not offer me a raise? Wondering if I should use this an opportunity to negotiate or run as I have been feeling undervalued?

How easy is it to come across UX Writer & Content Designer entry level roles? The ones I find usually require a 2-3 year experience.
Finally got an offer for one in Washington, but I live in NY with my spouse. If I turn this one down, what is the chance that I come across another one again? Can I get referrals for anywhere else? Looking at the current layoffs in tech space, will turning this down be a risk?

How has COVID affected your workload, if at all? My group has a lot more work to do, and less resources with which to do it. But I don't worry about layoffs, so overall I'm happy to be where I am.

My client (subK) was never paid by the gen K or the property owner for work/materials and wants to sue. However, they had no K with the property owner, only with the gen K. Other than unjust enrichment, what other claims could we assert against the property owner in the absence of a K between my client and the prop owner. I’m pretty weak on agency/contract law but want to do a good job for the client (the first one I’ve originated as a 1st year).

Dad's a little guidance please. We bought a Chicco car seat with base and a stroller that accepts the car seat. . I've been reading that other brands (e.g Britax, MaxiC) do not have a base and remain in the car. So how to Britax car seat parents move/carry their infants around? Remove from the car seat and hand carry or prop into stroller?
Currently, I put the baby into the car seat and he stays in it and is carried around in it. Trying to understand the process if I were to buy a Britax.

I’m an FA within the bank channel and have made the mistake of leaving my first firm to go to another. bank program that ended up failing and sold our books to another firm. It’s become harder and harder to grow a book now within the bank channel because of Reg BI and it’s going to take me a decade to grow my book to where I want to be. I’m a CFP and finishing up my MBA. So I got a call from my Mom the other day telling me she moved her annuity into one paying 6%. Based off of what I read about annuities, I can't imagine what kind of crap she bought to get that 6%.
