Would love to know - do you guys typically see a big difference between Solutions Consultants versus Solutions Engineers? Inherently one sounds more technical than the other, but would love your take.
Additionally, what typical career paths do you see for SC/SEs to grow into? Ideally a path that leads to a lot of money (currently making just south of $200k)

What is the company transport policy in Infosys?
If a company travels 25km every day, is there any corporate bus or cab service that they can avail?
Like in TCS we have free buses (throughout day) and free cabs (at early morning or night) for all employees. Anything similar in Infosys?
Just thinking out loud.
Why am I finding it so difficult to find a Business Analyst/Sales & Marketing Performance Analyst role in my preferred location even after having 2+ yrs of experience with a good portfolio?
Am I trying to look for the same really soon or am I not skilled enough?
Some expert advice would really help.
I just want HR to know that I bring my laptop to my pedicures, will leave for hours in the middle of the day, but still bust ass nights and weekends when I have to. Normalize ebbs and flows (for non-parents too) instead of 40ish hour minimums.
Do you have to justify for expensive taxi/uber rides? My most recent ride charged almost $100 when the estimated was about $60. I'd like to not have to deal w uber if I don't have to.

How do you transition from big 4 consulting to big law? My clients are all funds, and I do international tax consulting. I have used my connections to refer me into probably 10 big law firms and it’s not working. One most recently came back and said they aren’t interested bc I have no law firm experience. How am I supposed to get it though? I can’t go to lower ranked firms bc my clients are all “big.” … any suggestions appreciated!

Thoughts on active clients adding you on LinkedIn? OK or wait until you’ve left the firm?
Do you take down call notes directly on the draft or in a standalone doc? I prefer the former since it’s way easier for me to refer and amend after, but a senior who subsequently asked for the notes seems annoyed at the format. These notes were intended for my own reference purposes only…
I feel like I am so inexperienced in my job that everything takes so long to complete and get used to. Hence, I constantly feel guilty that I am spending a lot of time on my tasks and I am not adding enough value especially given the cost that clients pay for our time. I also fear that most of my time will get written off at the end of the day by the matter managers. Is this feeling normal and does it go away?
I need some legal advice in my grievance letter. I have just paid £390 for a 16 min conversation with a solicitor and he now tells me reviewing the letter is an extra fee. I would be so grateful if someone could help me as I just need the last part reviewed which is the offer to my employer (UK Law). Thank you
Are Money Service Businesses (money transmitter) considered Financial Institutions under Regulation E? They don’t exactly fit the definition of an FI, but there is a lot of gray area.
What does it mean to have to obtain original copies of the finance docs? Do I just need to have the client send the physical, wet ink signature to our office?
For the junior associates out there, I’m a 2020 call and am convinced that I’m taking a lot of time while working on deals. I’m also not really sure how my efficiency compares to other associates as I’m the only junior in the group. The junior partner I work with primarily always tells me to rack up my hours but I’m also afraid of looking inefficient with the more senior partners. Does anyone ever write down their own time? Or is ashamed of how long it takes to draft say a direction to pay?

Hi, is anyone interested in doing some contract transactional work on an as needed basis? Some business formations and corporate work, contract drafting/reviewing and maybe some IP (TM filing)?
For my mid/big law friends in Philly - looking to lateral (corporate/M&A) and only moved to the city last year so I don’t have much knowledge on the firm cultures here. If you like your firm, I’d love to hear about it. (red flags are helpful too).

How often is there RWI in a de-SPAC transaction?
Do you bill the time you spend reading emails you’re copied on (that you read to stay in the loop on a deal)? Any tips here? I’m a few years into practicing & probably lose at least an hour a day to this.
I just accepted a position negotiating transactions. I have lots of negotiating experience, as well as drafting experience. But I did that mainly litigating matters.
Can you describe the likely transition to all transactional? I have 24 YOE. I did this for growth. I’m also working on an MBA. (Hoping for leadership roles in the future).
Canadian gasoline prices soar to highest level in 14 years
Gasoline prices in most parts of Canada soared this week to the highest level in 14 years.
Data from Natural Resources Canada, which tracks gasoline prices across the country, shows that the retail price of Canadian regular grade gasoline has reached C$1.45 per liter, or about $7.37 per liter. This is an increase of C$0.40 (about $2.34) over the same period last year. According to Kalibrate, a gasoline price consulting firm, the weekly
