Anyone here at Stripe that would be willing to review my resume and help me improve my chances of getting an interview for a strategy / operations role ? I’ve applied about 9 months ago but looking to apply again now that I’ve been promoted and have more experience.

I think going over your resume with someone from there is a great idea. I'm actually wishing I had thought of it before my last series of interviews.

Did you get any feedback from your prior application that you might be able to put into action as well?

Unfortunately not, did not even get a recruiter screen 🙁 I know I’m probably biased, but I really do think my background is a good fit

Received a job offer via video call. The hiring manager was thoroughly providing pertinent information and everything was going well. Then as she said, “…with a starting salary of…” the connection cut out. 🤣 Came back on as she was explaining the time period for bonuses.
Don’t worry, I explained what happened and got the numbers. But damn, does the universe have a sense of humor sometimes.

I interviewed for a position at Microsoft recently and I'm a bit confused by the experience. The recruiter wanted to know my exact salary at my current company...He said hiring managers will not even look at my resume until I share my numbers. I declined to share my current comp and he said if I wanted to move forward I have to share that info.

Do I have to disclose this? And is there a way for them to verify it if I say a higher number?
