Bought a condo in 2020 for $579k, tried to sell in May for $600k (we put money into it and wanted to recoup some of our closing costs, plus our neighbor sold for $625k. The reason for selling is purely personal, we had an oops and ended up with too many kids for the condo. Anyway, we took it off the market after it did not sell for 4 months. Now, my situation still has not changed, and we are DESPERATE to leave. How should I price my home?
Does the recruitment team check the applications from the careers portal or they only take the refferals? Applied for various positions in the IT division but not getting calls. Any suggestions?

Anyone here work at Tempus? It’s a precision medicine startup, but was curious about culture, WLB, etc

Imagine you're looking for a remote job at a large company with a sophisticated marketing function, strong manager, and room for growth. Making good traction, but then you're contacted by a company in a niche that FASCINATES you...like you read books about this subject for fun, you'd probably love this job. It's remote, the salary is good, the manager is nice, but you'd be the most senior marketing person; the company is about 200 people. What would you do?

Thoughts on the networking mode of this app? And if it’s been useful for those who’re using it
I can’t believe what just happened! “You got view only access” I recently summarized a picture of what’s happening at work in my company bowl out of frustration. Immigrants boys club, angry immigrants at the top, left, center and right who likes to work on things themselves. For instance I wanted to move to the technology sales /pre sales stream and found them resisting my move especially I’m already pitching and networking with clients heavily. Does fishbowl share your info to companies!
Does Accenture care if you expense a friend's flight if they purchased it to your project city?

Posting on my wife’s behalf - We recently moved to the US and she is currently looking for a good role in HR consulting. She has previously worked with KPMG, McKinsey, Korn Ferry and WTW in Talent and Org. consulting practices in India for about 12 years. She also recently cleared her SPHR certification. It will be a great help if anyone can refer or aware of any job openings in NYC area. Thanks!
Hey, guys. Recently moved into Culture & Engagement and bought "Employee Engagement for Dummies".
Wondering if there are other books you'd recommend.
Is the SPHR or PHR license necessary to pivot into human capital? I have a MBA from a Top 15 school. Any thoughts?
I have a year of experience in recruiting but I am looking to transition into the Talent Development/Organizational Development space in the industry. Would a Masters degree in I/O or OD be better for this? I would love any advice on this!
Any idea about Korn Ferry HCM consulting? Is it a good move? I have a choice between them and Big 4 People & org consulting; both in Middle east office.
I am a HCM professional with about 6 years of working experience. Right now I am interviewing (final stages of interviewing) for a great role at a great company. The thing that makes me uneasy is that I recently started seeing someone who works for the same company (granted I had applied before seeing this person). We are in the early dating stages so I haven’t mentioned that I am in final stage interviews at his company.
HCM Professionals, do you think this is a conflict of interest?
Is PwC Workforce transformation/OCM hiring? Looking for referral for a Manager role - thanks in advance!
Are there any firms trying to up their game and compete with the Deloitte Human Capital behemoth? EY, KPMG, and PWC’s HC offerings just seem pathetic. I have heard PWC is trying something new.

Hi there -
I am trying to move into the OD realm, do you all have any guidance on good conferences (besides the OD Network) and any certs that can help out? Any and al advice is welcome!
What certifications in Org Development do you feel have the most ROI? I have my Master's and experience and want to continue to be marketable.
Seeking advice for moving from industry leadership role (dr of training) into HC consulting. 20+ years in TD (L&D, PC, OCM). Industry roles for last 5 years but spent most of my career in small consulting orgs.
CPTD but no degree (long story, about 15 cr shy). Would you suggest addl cert (CCMP, SHRM-C)? Will the lack of degree a no-go or is there a way in while I finish? A Sr director role is being dangled. Would the title bump help with the transition or do I risk missing a hot market?
Accepted a Big4 workforce transformation consulting position at SA1 level with approx 2 YOE (also in workforce trans - joined first firm as a campus recruit) for 95K in NYC. Does this salary offer sound right or did they lowball me?
Hello Folks, does anyone have ideas for getting a predominantly male/sales focused group primed/open to self-reflection and sharing within an emerging leaders cohort? The vast majority of my facilitation and coaching has been with a predominantly female population and I suspect this could go a little differently!

What do you intend to use it for? I’m certified in a few personality and behavioral assessments from coaching / facilitation company days. I found the certs useful for BD purposes, but outside of directly selling coaching, retreats, or the actual assessments, I am unsure I would recommend getting a cert in HBDI, MBTI, DiSC, Strengths, etc. JUST for the way of thinking. They’re fairly easily understood frameworks, and I’d bet one could find enough free content to be able to leverage for any interpersonal, non-BD centric use.
Good points. I think this explains why the cert is incredibly expensive due to pricing structure associated with how many licenses you get to conduct assessments (at least that’s my understanding).
I think I’m more interested in having the education and knowledge under my belt. Using the cert as another cred to enhance the impression my clients have of me is a bonus, but I’d say the former is more important to me. Perhaps the investment isn’t worth it...
My prior company did HBDI assessments and had everyone post them to help with teaming and communication. It was interesting, but I didn't necessarily find it to be very useful or impactful.
HBDI is super helpful and impactful if you actually use it!! I am a certified practitioner and have used it with internally at our firm with executive teams and externally with clients and they’ve found it very helpful. It’s really helpful to understand people’s thinking preferences and how those interact and show up in different contexts. It helps with team problem solving and communication.
What firm are you? If you’re PwC I can help with more specifics. Haha. But if not, it’s definitely an individual situation but I could intro you to someone who can give you info from Herrmann. Maybe DM me so u don’t have to publicize it- whatever is comfortable
