If your eyes are fairly stable (a year without change, but I’ve waited longer to be sure) then you should do some research and go get a consultation to see if you’re a good candidate. Currently in the process now. A lot of times they won’t do it on you until mid 20s cause eyes can still change a lot but regardless you should still need reading glasses at 40ish cause that’s life
Did mine 10 years ago. I in my early 20’s, minus 8.5 with astigmatism in both eyes. A few kids and a few years later it’s still great and no adjustment necessary. I’m gonna need reading glasses in my 50’s obviously but other than that I’m great!
A friend of mine had it done....i don't think she got any time off. After a few years she is back to wearing glasses....your vision continues to change after you get it done so I think it's better to get this done when you are older.
I went to the best one I could find and they had to give me a bunch of drugs to settle me down before I got in there, but it literally took three minutes or less once I got in the room.
What's your total Comp: Salary/Bonus structure look like and area of the business that you work in (Sales Rep, Business Development, Product Management etc)?

Do it!! Best decision I ever made. I had it done in May on a Saturday and was back to work for walkthroughs on Monday
Did it 12 years ago on a Friday. Back at work Monday. Best decision ever and still doing great

10 years ago the technology was not as advanced but I had it on a Friday, took off Mon/Tues and was back to work on Weds.
I had it done four years ago. No issues and have perfect vision
I had it done in 2010. Took the day off and went back to work the next day with 20/15 vision. No issues since. Best money I ever spent.
Same as EY 3. Had mine done in 2009. Took 2 days to recover. I have 20/20 and it was worth every penny!
Weren’t u scared they would screw up?
