I work at a new, small firm. We get 10 days of PTO. For family/medical leave, we get 20 days paid and then 20 days unpaid. But policy says we have to take our PTO concurrently with paid family/medical leave. That’s weird, right? It’s like you end up losing paid leave days. It makes sense to do it concurrently with unpaid leave but not paid leave, right?

Hi everyone! I graduated in advertising 2 years ago and have since been doing in house marketing for a company in my community. I live in the metro Detroit area and I am finding it really difficult to break into the agency scene around here. I have a lot of marketing and even event experience but since I haven’t had agency work yet I feel I’m being overlooked. I am waiting for the response from recruiters all day long. I can’t even enjoy my lectures any more. It’s also hard for me to find some time with my friends. I can barely feel myself.

However, I still don’t know when and how I should stop. I can scroll the LinkedIn until 2 AM at night. Life is so hard.
