Anyone here from KPMG’s Risk Consulting practice, specifically the Forensics Emergency Management group? I’ve seen quite a bit of job postings for this practice and was curious about the group. Are they experience a huge amount of growth, turnover, etc? How is the group generally viewed within Risk Consulting?

A colleague I worked with who was technically unskilled and not client facing copied my resume bullets word for word. I don’t think he even understands what he has copied, because he has listed (copied) project stakeholders our team interacted with before he joined the engagement. I’m no longer in the engagement, but while I was there, he would leech off of my work and try to somehow make it his own.

Hi 🐠, I unfortunately messed up part of my google interview and didnt make it to next round. How do you handle handoff/transition before going on maternity leave? I will be going on maternity leave in 3 months and need to put together a transition plan so that someone can take care of my work while I am out. I want to make sure nothing falls through the crack but at the same time don’t want to train someone to do 100% of my job - that would make my role redundant if someone can just take over right? Plus the company is going through restructuring now too. How would you handle this?

Is it just me or at EY Forensics everyone just blame any mistake on those below them. I sent something to a client with a mistake which my supervisor didn’t notice as well. When the client came back the supervisor just fully blamed me for it like they didn’t review the work themselves. I completely agree with taking responsibility for my mistakes but mistakes happen and there is no need to finger point like it’s not a team effort.
