Anyone here from Shell and can tell me what to expect from the first phone screening? I submitted a job application and somehow got an interview. I checked on LinkedIn and people with similar titles have 10-15 more years of experience than I do. I don’t think I’m qualified for the role so seems like I’m wasting time preparing for the interview.

Again that manager is asking me to apply the Project code when I am on leave and he wants me to apply those 2 days leave when I was on bench in Myte. My leaves would be saved but when I said pls give a written note on mail so that I won't be in any trouble since I am applying Project code in myte when I am on leave..he refused for any email confirmation.He said let's not move forward.I will inform the Onshore project manager on this.I don't know what to do.

Any insight into the Product Development Specialist role at Facebook? My goal is product management and I am currently a strategy consultant with 3 YOE (not technical), but this seems like a possible path toward that goal. The initial total comp brought up was only $110K (base, bonus, stock), which is barely more than I am making now, though they said there was room to negotiate on the stock portion.

What would you do?

(Or really this is just me typing out loud. )

Currently 6 years at job A at 100K and 10K annual bonus but lil to no upward mobility. It's safe if not going anywhere.

Recruiter reached out regarding Job B at 130K with greater advancement potential but it starts out at 6 Months Contract to Hire per the agency contract. No bonus, benefits adequate by comparison. There is no guarantee to go full time.

How do I get signatories to fill in their company name correctly on a DocuSign PowerForm NDA? I’m not allowed to reach out to people in advance and prepare customized NDAs for them, because “everyone is automated” and “that’s too slow and causes too much work for them.” I moved the signatory info to the signature block and made a “Full Legal Name of Entity you Represent” line, but people still screw it up and I’m getting blamed. Recently accepted a great offer from one of those startup-within-a-large-company outfits. The startup farms out the hiring stuff to the larger company. In the new hire paperwork, I noticed it said the comp was based on my being in a Tier 1 CoL city. Prior to accepting I'd mentioned to the startup I was looking to move, and they said it shouldn't be an issue. Will they adjust my comp down if I move to a Tier 2 city? Startup is fully distributed and remote.

How do you deal with managers or directors younger than you who don’t have strong leadership qualities due to lack of experience? I’m in my mid-thirties and the director of product is mid-twenties. They rose through the ranks as the startup grew so they really know the product and company but they don’t have a lot of experience managing a team.
