Yeah honestly I’m expecting a huge backlog. Appointments will be booked through 2022. Unless you can prove you have a basis for an emergency appointment, you may be in UK for longer than you anticipate.

like

You can still try. Start a DS-160 application and begin the process of registering for a visa appointment. You’ll have to pay the visa fee ($190). This will allow you to see the full calendar of appointments. The fee will be valid to September 2023 (that’s current DOS policy due to the pandemic). You can book an appointment or don’t. The point however is to log in every day to see if any appointments have opened up for a time that is convenient for you. Once you see something, don’t hesitate to book the appointment. You might get lucky. It’s what I tell all my firm’s clients to do. Just make sure you complete and submit your DS-160 so that it doesn’t expire (drafts expire at around 30 days from last date it was edited).

Starting the interview loop again for a PgM role in UX at Google. I received good feedback the first set of interviews I did for a previous role but I didn’t get to the hiring committee. I would like to increase my chances this time since there are multiple roles open across different teams. I’m really worried about the GCA round since this loop is different and I don’t have experience in UX. Does anyone have any resources that would be useful for me to leverage for this round?

Hi Everyone, Need some inputs before making an important decision. I have offer from Cognizant and they are promising that next quarter they will initiate my Canada visa. They are giving assurance when I spoke to them over call. Also, my current employer Accenture is also saying the same to retain me. Can I believe Cognizant? Also, Canada onsite is best in which company - Accenture or Cognizant. Please suggest based on your experience. Thanks in advance!

Anyone have any insights on the recruiting process with PwC? I’m looking at new roles and not really sure what to expect during interviews.

As the post-COVID workplace is transforming the core essence of what’s most important to recruiting, retaining and developing talent (employees, consultants, hybrid type work), what are the core one or two “MVPs”- - (Most Valuable Professional-Personal) ‘essentials’ you require for your ideal career-life design blueprint?
