In November, but my immigration counsel seemed dubious on how easy it would be to renew the H1B to get back to the States in a reasonable time. While country looks like bedlam atm tbh.

The employer said I will be paid weekly but now after my first week, he said that they have to skip a week to align with the payroll.

And that he will be paying me from his personal account till they set up everything as a new business in the country.

I have recently signed an offer with a company and they filed my H1-B transfer case with USCIS. However, I have just received a better offer that I want to accept with another company. Can I still sign the new offer and tell the first company to “drop” the filing?

Well it’s now the 8th Sept clearly USCIS at this point isn’t rushing to use the extra visas this year. So I guess those of us with adjustment of status filed are just gonna be waiting another year since they don’t seem to put too much effort into processing these until each year end

Hi all! My 1-485 was filed concurrently with I—140 (filed PP), and 1-765/131 on 1/7. We just got separate receipts for all. I’ve been hearing receipts were taking 1-2 months... would we get updated receipts once I—140 is approved? Since it’s the basis for the AOS? There’s no priority date listed on the receipts!
