Seeking career advice! Hi all, I'm a consultant working in the development sector looking for a career switch. I've done my PG in Entrepreneurship from TISS, Mumbai. I have 3 yrs of exp in fin modeling, business modeling, micro-enterprise development, pitch/project design etc. Despite some major achievements & contributions growth is almost non-existent & frustrating. Looking for advice. I’m a sr. associate in cyber at a Big 4 on track for a promo to manager in a year. My old employer reached out to me about coming back as an Assoc. Dir., BISO. Concern is that this BISO role would not have bonuses (nonprofit), so I’d potentially be “throwing away” $ by leaving consulting now. Would opps later on be better having had an associate director role on my résumé before I’m 30? Should I stick it out in consulting? The job is a dream, but short term $ is def less.
