Need some advice regarding an offer I received. I’m approaching the one year mark in audit (October). I received a $65k accounting job offer in MCOL city with a tech company. The job will be a mix of accounting, budgeting/forecasting, and other ad hoc reporting. Does this sound like a good opportunity given my experience and background (Big 4, reputable university)?

Working at Deloitte, came from another B4. Resigned with my prev employer 2 wks before I could complete a year with them, knowing that the 2 wk notice would get me over the 1 year mark. As I was joining a competitor, they insisted that my resignation day be my last day & there would be no notice period. So I left my prev employer 2 weeks before I could complete a year. Now they need me to pay back half the relocation comp because I didn't spend a year with them. Do I have a case against this?
