I’m having my performance review tomorrow. Looked at my goals last year which was set before the pandemic really hit. Since it really affected business and travel I didn’t hit most of my goals. My boyfriend lost his mother few months ago. It was very unexpected. How can I support him going forward ? He talks way less as he’s slowly realizing she’s gone and he’s very sad. I don’t know what to do beside being there for him and giving him space when needed. He said I’m very supportive but I’m a bit scared this will affect our relationship as a couple on the long term. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.

Hi fishes, thinking for switching to other consulting firms. Current job at EY requires too much travel. So, I wanted to know travel policies of other firms before making the switch. Do employees get to travel business/ first class or it is economy only for both domestic and international? How good is company policy for ground transport, hotels and meals?

I feel so far behind all of my non-lawyer friends. Everyone is getting married, having babies, and buying houses, and all I have is esq behind my name... Also, if anyone used to feel that way but dug themselves out of that whole, any advice?

Okay, it’s time to stop putting on a face about this. I love my boyfriend so much, but covid is ruining us. We are both still WFH and argue every few days about the dumbest stuff. My and his mental health are both diminishing and it feels like an impossible trench to dig out of. My stomach hurts every time we fight and I (independent of him) feel so stuck in this horrible global crisis. I don’t want to lose him, but I need to figure out how to dig us both out of this unsustainable mental state.

Have an offer for $30k more at Accenture, but chance for less ideal travel (60% chance of chi suburbs). Would appreciate any insight or advice as I am very torn.

A different kind of working mom post:

Many of you have young kids... are there any moms of teens here?

I am at a point where my teen's newfound "independence" is starting to impact my focus and time at work - his running off to hang with friends without permission, etc is becoming a distraction during the workday, and the impact has definitely been noticed by my superiors at work.

The issues with the kid are being handled appropriately - this is more about how to overcome perception at work

Hi everyone. I'm looking for some guidance on Accenture Management Consulting Manager salaries in Middle East, specifically in Riyadh.

Hello all
I am a biology graduate. I worked in cancer research and development for more than two years. Recently moved to Canada, and now I'm wanting to transition into clinical research.
Most jobs I find online ask for atleast 2 years clinical experience.
Does anyone have any tips on how to procure this experience? Should I invest in a course? Or should I volunteer at a CRO?
I recently got offered a clinical admin position, would this count as clinical exp?
Thanks
