Both my wife and I work for FAANG companies. As the stock has recently gone through the roof I was wondering if we should try to protect the gains (covered call/put options). Understand we will be giving up upside but we might need to liquidate in about a year or so for a down payment. Any one ever done that? How would you think about the strategy here?

I have an associate full-time offer from a Big4 & an Analyst offer from a decent consulting firm. The pay is in the 60 range for big4 and 70s for consulting firm.
What would you do? I'm not sure what the consulting job will be like but I wouldn't need a masters degree which is great. I am also an analytics minor which is useful.

I ordered a Tesla model 3 SR in April and I am able to take delivery this weekend, however I’m now unsure of whether it’s the right move financially. I have a lease on a 2020 BMW X3 that will end next month and was wondering if I should just buy that out and drive it for a few years. If it makes a difference I’m in SoCal so gas is $$$, but no EV charging in my apartment.

Tesla: $830/month + charging and insurance
BMW: $600/m + $150 gas + maint/insurance

Any thoughts? Is the Tesla worth it?

About to give a go at negotiating a price for a used ‘21 Mercedes’ GLE 350 - 7k miles. I know it’s a tough buyers market but any tips on ways to negotiate? Dealer is 100 miles away and priced competitively at $64k but another dealer is 200 miles away and priced at $60k. Features are about the same but the more expensive option has nicer wheels so maybe that’s worth ~$2k. TIA
