Anyone here leave consulting even though they really enjoyed the work and felt it was a good fit in many ways? I've never felt more "at home" in a career (been doing consulting for 4+ yrs now) but the pace/pressure/lack of WLB is starting to take a toll on my health and social life. How many who enjoyed consulting found just as much enjoyment in other career paths (i.e. tech)?

Does anyone have a chronic health issue that literally inhibits them from working more than 40-45 hours? Not disabled, but if I work 3- 15 hour days in a row, I'm up shits creek. How do u deal?

I believe people should get vaccinated when they can and if they are able to. I also think it’s wrong for governments to mandate vaccination. Doing so severely infringes on individual freedom and sets a bad precedent for the future.

Legit confused about the "wait and see/ I'm low risk" vaccine crowd. I'm low risk too but I got vaccinated for me as well as to contribute to the safety of others by stopping the spread. How do I discuss this with others without literally saying I think it's selfish to wait it out? If we all did this, how many more would die?

My upstairs neighbor hit my car and made a big stink about paying for the damages. Turns out her kid (16) hit my car so she didn’t want to go thru insurance because her kid doesn’t have a license. She finally paid, and her 16 year old kid continues to illegally drive without a license. Is it too petty to call the cops when I see this kid illegally driving?

Not to start a political debate… I am not anti vaccine but have not wanted to get the COVID vaccine. I think I will be getting the vaccine tomorrow. Anyone else feel conflicted who originally really did not want to get it, but was kind of feeling forced to get it?

I’ve never understood why people are so insistent on vaccine mandates. If the vaccine works and you get the jab, you should be fine. It’s wrong for the vaccinated to view the unvaccinated as a threat to them if the vaccine works.

In an internal call today, I made reference to how I feel like were living in Atlas Shrugged: incompetent government, virtue signaling, etc. My EM called me a few hrs later and said the BA felt my reference to Ayn Rand was a “microaggression” that made her feel “unsafe” and was inflicted “violence” on her mental health and complained to the EM.
