I remember being at PwC, I was a high performer. Asked my relationship partner to meet to discuss a path to early promotion. His/Her response was "why does everyone want an early promotion around here". The advice I got was to network with partners...Thanks for the help.

Hi everyone! Just looking for some insight. I’m about 4 years into HR, have my bachelors. I’ve been toying around with the idea of getting my masters in something relating to compliance/labor law and that side of HR. Shrm certification is also on my list. If anyone has some advice on what to get a masters in specifically, I’d be open to suggestions! I’m trying to find something that would be worth my while and would give me a step up. Thanks!

Trying to articulate specific behaviors that will help our PMs not end up being the “deliverer of bad news” that ppl have to work overtime, especially if the same PMs already advocated for their teams in convos with senior leads.

I know most of us here aren’t really big fans of RA. I’ve come to terms with just enjoying the fact that we’re client facing and networking for opportunities from that. I was kinda in a rut earlier because I really hated this, but I’ve recently calmed down after getting on some more consultative and business process projects. Ultimately I want to move around, just like many of you, and from my experience so far I feel like it’s a lot easier to do than we think, so just trying to get the most out
