Hey ppl! I would love some advice re: my situation. I was in a bootcamp sponsored by my employer; afterwards I was assigned to an agile team. However, for about a year now, I've had to join a 2nd bootcamp, purchase courses on Udemy just to get better at coding. I've gotten 100% better, but I don't have much to show for it professionally because I've been pigeon-holed. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to stand out to other employers so I can get a better job - where I'm included?

Hi All, I was offered a role with Aecoms San Francisco office working with an energy client for a midlevel associate environmental planner. I wanted to gauge what is a general salary that ones been offered on this team. I felt lowballed at $79k/annual, initially offered 74k. This is given that I had 1.5 years in land use planning and a recent masters graduate in urban planning.

I have a call with a recruiter and in their initial email they said the conversation would take place via Teams and I don't have to have my camera on if I don't want to. I assume it would be better to have my camera on so I can better show enthusiasm/give off positive vibes right? And what's the best practice if their camera is off?

Might be an odd question: we have multiple great ideas and sources of funding. Would it make sense to build out a portfolio of the companies as a fund or to build them directly? Concerned about spreading too thin by pursuing them all but all have significant potential. I have always been more entrepreneurial, never really thought about scaling up and running multiple companies. Thoughts?

During my comp meeting (staff 1->2), I was told that all staff received the same % and that performance wasn’t considered. Later, I found out a few staff (same office and SL) received a higher %.
