Hey ppl! I would love some advice re: my situation. I was in a bootcamp sponsored by my employer; afterwards I was assigned to an agile team. However, for about a year now, I've had to join a 2nd bootcamp, purchase courses on Udemy just to get better at coding. I've gotten 100% better, but I don't have much to show for it professionally because I've been pigeon-holed. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to stand out to other employers so I can get a better job - where I'm included?
Will I get fired because I made a mistake - I forgot to double check with the client that he had to do something and now it’s too late
I'm looking for a new challenge. I've already worked at FAANG companies (though not all), and I'm fairly senior. What's a good next step for me?

Hi All, I was offered a role with Aecoms San Francisco office working with an energy client for a midlevel associate environmental planner. I wanted to gauge what is a general salary that ones been offered on this team. I felt lowballed at $79k/annual, initially offered 74k. This is given that I had 1.5 years in land use planning and a recent masters graduate in urban planning.
I have a call with a recruiter and in their initial email they said the conversation would take place via Teams and I don't have to have my camera on if I don't want to. I assume it would be better to have my camera on so I can better show enthusiasm/give off positive vibes right? And what's the best practice if their camera is off?

Might be an odd question: we have multiple great ideas and sources of funding. Would it make sense to build out a portfolio of the companies as a fund or to build them directly? Concerned about spreading too thin by pursuing them all but all have significant potential. I have always been more entrepreneurial, never really thought about scaling up and running multiple companies. Thoughts?
Hey guys, I have been through all the interviews and after being unsuccessful for one role, they have put me forward for another similar role.
I have just received an email from my recruiter asking for transcripts, career history, salary expectations etc. I was just wondering from your experience if this is a good sign? What is the likelihood of an offer being extended after this stage? Thanks! :)
What are some of the most lucrative positions within the supply chain field? Any recommendations to maximize earning potential?
During my comp meeting (staff 1->2), I was told that all staff received the same % and that performance wasn’t considered. Later, I found out a few staff (same office and SL) received a higher %.
I work as a finance assistant at a car dealership. Next month is when I’ll get a raise…but I’m sure they’ll only give me a small one. Any advice? I’m making $16/hourly, and really need a good raise to, well, live in this crazy economy.
Is it even possible to get HSW with a low GPA (3.3-3.5 range) if you’re an ORM guy? Even if you went to top 20 undergrad, top GMAT (780-800), good work experience (top consulting firms+FAANG)?

Background is that I’ve worked 4 years in some boutique and mid level agencies and am interested in taking a shot at the “big leagues” so to speak. Interested to hear how you went about finding opportunities, holding interviews, etc.
I worked in a small/mid market for 3 years and then moved to NYC 4 years ago, it can be tough but solely depends on your determination to make it and your book
In the greatest city in the world... In the greatest city in the world... Look around, look around theres so many agencies for you choose right now!!!!
Howdy. Worked at an agency in Texas for almost 5 years and moved to NY almost a year ago. Long story short, the big leagues are overrated. You don’t produce as much as you think, budgets are not as big as you think, and clients aren’t that interesting as you imagine.
Living here is cool though, very different lifestyle than most places in America. I’ve got about 7 months left on my lease, as soon as it’s over I’m getting the fudge outta here.
Shit, typos. You get the idea though.
