Hi, I’m 30yrs old and by next week I will be 31yrs old. Got married 2 yrs ago and we have been trying for kids from past 7 months but no luck, we try to have sex almost all 7 days of fertile window. I get my periods regularly, I don’t have thyroid nor PCOD. My Gyn did all test, and everything looks fine, my ovaries, Fallopian tubes , harmonies. Do I need to see fertility doctor ,if so, how is the best fertility doctor near Boston area. Need inputs for next steps before it’s too late 😒

I did. I don’t think it’s a bad idea to take some time to eat healthy and clean, reduce stress, etc.
Do you have to get that vaccine if you had chickenpox as a child?

No,I didnt as a child
Never had chicken pox but I had taken the vaccine as a kid. Clinic wanted me to take a booster because blood work showed low immunity. But taking a booster would have meant waiting 8 weeks. I asked for repeat blood work and signed a waiver to go ahead with the FET. Repeat blood work showed I had enough immunity.
By before IVF, do you mean embryo transfer or just retrieval? You could check with the clinic if they allow ER if you have just taken the vaccine. I think you would have to either sign a waiver or wait in case of a transfer.
I signed my clinic’s waiver to proceed without it (I was definitely vaccinated as a child but my bloodwork showed no immunity unfortunately). I was comfortable skipping it as I work from home and am rarely around children - the odds of me catching it feel incredibly low. Chickenpox is really dangerous to pregnant women, though. My RE said she especially recommends it to nurses and teachers as they are at higher risk, but she didn’t seem particularly concerned with me skipping it.
Our RE made my wife get two doses before she’d even treat us (my wife’s home country doesn’t do it generally and she had no anti-bodies).
Yes, my clinic required this but offered a waiver. I decided to get it once I read about how bad chicken pox can be for a birth defects. I didn’t feel like a month or two would make a difference for my mental health (the break was kind of nice). I might have felt differently if I was in your shoes
