Funny how some firms have analysts at entry level that then get promoted to consultants, and others vice-versa. Wonder if it affects exit-opportunities at all 😛

Hiya! So I have been having hard time keeping my jobs lately due to transportation and more bc of the toxic work environment in retailing and restaurants . I have 5 years of customer service experience. I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

Currently in BizOps, and wondering what uncommon next steps would look like from here? It sounds like people tend to stay in BizOps and rise up from there / lead a BU at some point, pivot to Product / another function, move to another company's BizOps team. What else have you seen others done?

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. Performance reviews coming at the end of the this year and I’m wondering 1) if my salary is on par with what I should expect 2) how to approach conversations about raises and promotion with my supervisor. I have been employed with them for 17 years and honesty, it’s a great company to work for. I have been in management for over 7 years at this point, completing everything from culinary management to both ends of service management, I have also completed my general management assessment. My pay has only increased on average of less than 3% per year with one year at 6%. I have never negotiated my salary before, is this too low? If so what is good increase for a company that continues to excel?

I need advice from the collective. It seems like there is a trend to sell wine in unique bottles. The only problem with this, those bottles will not fit into my wine fridge. For those of you with high functioning triads, what makes your engineering lead standout? I am in a product team where the engineering lead was a good developer who was promoted into role when the previous lead left. The reasons given were basically that I was not a great match for the team. My manager said they wanted somebody who was more aggressive; I take full responsibility for my performance. It is unfortunate I did not receive much feedback, and the few feedback I received was actually kinda positive lol. In any case, I'm learning from my mistakes and looking for opportunities . 4 years of experience 2 SWE at startups/msft and 1.8 years as PM at upcoming tech company

Landed my first PM role (growth) - any course/resource recommendations on how to be successful in it? Most posts I’ve found are catered with resources on how to pass interviews etc.

Has anyone got a good examples of a PM resume? My background is in consulting and my resume was project based. Now that I’m a PM, I’m unsure how to structure it. At moment I’ve listed my current job with 4/5 bullets, then my previous consulting job with 4 projects listed beneath with 4 bullets per project. Any thoughts or advice?
