Anyone here tried Soylent? If so, what are your thoughts?

I've tried Soylent Green, and it tasted like people. Euthanized people. Okay with condiments, though.

Tastes like failure and missed expectations

I want to try the keto mixes I've seen. Food is meh to me.

I have been using it for months and I love it. No - I don't like the taste (I don't mind it either), and I don't use it more than once per day. It's just a good, healthy, no-nasty-fingers-on-the-keyboard way to quickly eat something on these days that you're completely backed up with calls etc.

It's basically bottled cardboard... and extremely calorically dense

Tastes like package batter. Worked at keeping me full

Soylent is pretty good when traveling. Add protien, chocolate chip, mint, fruits etc. to Soylent to make taste better.

My friend was a Soylent ambassador, he had nothing but Soylent for a month. He got pretty creative and started making stuff like Soylent pancakes. He now has kidney problems

Thanks all. I will not be trying it at this time

Those that start using Soylent and adapt it for real meals adding all sorts of things completely missed the point on Soylent. It is not supposed to substitute in any way for the actual meal experience. That's like buying a plastic cup and using that for fancy wine. The plastic cup is for ease of use - and to be thrown away shortly after. If you want a real meal - get (or prepare) one.

I've heard it tastes like crap and is really popular w programmer types in SF 😂

Heard their new flavored ones are actually pretty good. I drank it for a while, thought it was pretty good... Stopped when they ran into production issues. May pick it up again

Just tried vegan cheese for the first time...and it was surprisingly good.

The holidays have made me realize how lonely I actually am. Looking into getting a dog. Other than a dog being time-consuming, how much would you say the cost of a dog is per month?

Who's ready for consensus tomorrow? Gonna be watching the ETH charts for 3 days straight 👀

Dang, everyone was in A Different World. But all jokes aside, these black shows were educational, insightful and set the groundwork for all these successful shows that imitated without credit.

Does anyone else think Kate Spade will release a bigger sale than 40% or put more bags on sale? I'm looking at this one and it's relatively new but I feel $200 is still too much for such a small bag

Does anyone else struggle with the lack of incentives in law? The possibility of a yearly bonus does not cut it, especially when there are down periods beyond our control. In AU bonuses are small too. Partnership is a carrot that seems to dangle farther and farther away (used to be 6 years, now it takes 10 years+ on average). Even then I’ve seen many dedicated and hardworking seniors disappointed. What are some other ways we can incentivise and reward hard work in big law? Quarterly bonuses?

How has your school made you feel appreciated and understood this year? Are they hiring?
