Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP

Yes my wife got us some at Nordstrom. I tried to tell her the best thing for face treatment for men was to sleep on a brick or smooth rock instead of a pillow. She got 2 silk pillowcases and now I am a big fan 😅 (the only disadvantage is I can’t strike a match on my chin any more, too soft)

Ps machine wash delicate and hang dry is fine

Ask your Black women friends where they got theirs. You can find them cheaper than Nordstrom’s for sure. There are a lot of black owned businesses on Etsy, IG, etc that sell them.
Also there’s satin vs silk, not all satin is made of silk, which is what will give you maximum softness and moisture retention. Satin is fine, but silk is best.
You might want to be careful if you have oily/acne prone skin, it could cause those oils to sit on your face more and cause breakouts. If you experience this purchase enough to swap them every couple nights or so.
Huh interesting. Never even heard of silk pillow cases till this post but I might have to snag one now
Lilysilk for the pillowcases - and highly recommend them. Huge improvement in my hair (no noticeable differences in my face).
Not a pillowcase but I highly recommend SILKE hair wraps. https://www.olivela.com/products/silke-london-the-eva-hair-wrap-241980?campaignId=10395147501&gclid=CjwKCAjwzvX7BRAeEiwAsXExoxjEF710CSu94t93UeObHA_1bz_Jk7koYOdQ0c3ChwPK3ztNmCHGbRoC7RgQAvD_BwE
It does get wavy, yes but I tend to wear my hair slightly wavy most days. I have medium-thick hair and on days where I’d rather wrap up all my hair, I’ve tucked it all in without issue. It’s a great design, loose enough to wrap yet snug enough to keep your hair in place overnight

Wife loves them. My whiskers destroy them.

BROOKLINEN makes 100% mulberry silk pillowcases. Decent price, but they have pretty great Black Friday sales if you can wait for that.
It has helped me, my hair is thin & straight and it doesn’t wake up all crazy. Coarser fibers frictions against your hair as you sleep/move around.
I used to have the Slip Silk Pillowcase from Nordstrom. I thought it was great but now I have an Amazon one. I find that it holds up better and feels the same as the $100 Slip pillowcase! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BUTHI40/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_JNMFFbZN9JW79
I used one for a while but didn’t notice a difference.
I love my silk pillowcases. Used to buy a few at a time from department stores in Asia - way cheaper & excellent quality. I also put mine in a laundry bag & then just hang dry
Costco online has them too
The Slip Silk pillowcase is fantastic, and also 25% off at Anthropologie right now.
