Bad work life balance, mediocre pay, low odds of making partner, increasingly long road to partnership, little control over the projects you’re staffed on, independence requirements, this list could go on. Is the Big 4 really worth it... I am increasingly thinking it’s not.
Not a CFP so I’m not truly in the know. That said, if I’m reading this article right, 10/2019 to maintain your CFP, you will have to drop your 7 license if you are dually registered?
Big interview day tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!!!!
Hi folks! First time posting in the fishbowl (nervous) 😬. I'm a creative who went into doing PhD management research, to find out how to increase creative output by improving client relationship & trust through service innovation. Do you have any advice on how I can approach the senior level (stakeholders) to do a research partnership?
My H1B petition was just filed after being selected in the second lottery. How does the new change in the rule affect me? For context, I am an analyst making 82k. Is that considered above prevailing wage?

I've recently discovered I enjoy trend research and providing a client a perspective of what markets/trends to chase and plan for the next 1-3-5 years. I enjoy it FAR more than creative briefs or comms planning. What job title am I looking for? Does it live in agencies?
Okay, so what do I really need for a classroom. Almost graduate on a budget, here! What are some really amazing supplies or must-haves you have in your classroom?
Has anyone ever been hired for a job you were definitely not qualified for? How did it go? I have been interviewing for a position with a higher title + different industry + different role than what I am doing today and somehow I keep moving on to the next round. Am I just imposter syndrome-ing myself or is this a bad idea?
If I’m looking to leave the classroom, what jobs are available to me in the corporate world? What can I look for? I have a BS in elementary and special education. I don’t know where to start. Thanks!
