Anyone here used Lark or monday.com or any alternative products for team management? Wanted to understand how user friendly and professional they are compared to more general tools like Google Workspaces, Slack or the Microsoft productivity suite.

Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Meta technical solutions consultant interview prep - can someone let me know if they have gone through the technical rounds for Technical Solutions Consultant role? Can you share what to prepare for since it’s not a data science type of role so most likely not hard level MySQL questions. Any specific types of queries that I should learn? Thanks!

For communication, Slack is the best.
For managing projects collectively, Asana is the best
I’ve used Monday. It’s super powerful, but you should probably have a pretty complex process you’re trying to run for it to be worth it. A super watered down but effective version would be Microsoft lists and miscrosoft Tasks. They work just fine for simpler tracking.
You could go with something like Microsoft Teams. It integrates with the office 365 and productivity suites, and does pretty much the same as most of the other suites. But if you're not already a Microsoft shop, it may not be ideal
I've tried all the big names in PM software and always found Teamwork Projects to have the best UI/UX and have also been using Notion to keep documentation and build processes around data tables.
When a product manager for Monday posts and has half the company comment. 😂
Lol I wish. I don't work for Monday.
I used Monday for a product assembly team, beautiful way to collaborate, claim, and execute tasks. Incredibly reasonable on the budget compared to Jira.
We use Jira internally. Albeit being among the best project management products, it's super heavy on the pocket (expenses-wise) and requires some management effort.
Does anyone have thoughts on Smartsheet?
Love smartsheet! Hate Monday with a passion. Smartsheet is very intuitive, like the best of MS Project without all of the overhead and crazy complex settings. It's great for a simple, team friendly project management tool.
I’ve used lark and by far it’s best at fostering community and collaboration. Many features for document sharing and working simultaneously.
Not try to fool anyone, who has time for that. I’ve used all platforms and this is my experience. Try it & decide yourself.
Asana here. Does some things well but reporting is a tragedy. I generated better reports out of Trello with a scrum plugin 7 years ago.
I’ve used multiple and by far Pivotal Tracker was the best. Great to track work, timing, track PR’s. Kept us in the same page and all documentation was easy to find.
I have used Asana, Jira and Airtable as well.
Our product teams use Monday but our tech teams use Microsoft products. They swear by Monday. I guess it all depends on how each tool can support your goals.
Thanks
My requirement was for a small scale stealth startup with <10 members. I found Lark (which is owned by Bytedance) was a good integrated tool for all things teams and general work related activities.
Monday is good for task allocation, resource mapping and allocation but it doesn’t have a not really a great IM
Try Miro
Miro is hot garbage.
Would you rather work for Monday.com or Asana?
Highly recommend Smartsheet. While I think Monday is “prettier” Smartsheet gives you the best of both worlds in terms of ease of use and robust ability (not to mention integrations with O365, slack, etc) so productivity can be maximized.
