I was hired 4 months back for specific project , was working from very 1 week of hire, now i am going to move to bench. Though i am happy but i also very worried as how much time it take to find next project, if i will get project as per tech i want to work.

I feel it had reduced but it's still not dead. A lot of startups have got decent funding. The biggies have multiplied profits. Paypal alone had pledged to hire 1000 from India.
Oh that's interesting. I thought I'd been seeing some more postings for Paypal. I will think more about pursuing while it's open...
I think so - I was getting TONS of recruiter interest on LinkedIn, lots of interview requests and now it's completely dead
We have the new realm where the newly funded startups have become great paymasters, few of those being Indian is another great news for us. Actually with the games of job shopping, the Indian market will become a challenge for the western nations, the resort being eastern Europe and other Asian nations.
Seems to have cooled a bit, but there are still more openings than qualified individuals to fill them
The curve is flattening and the flood is slowing, but definitely not dead yet. Still plenty of opportunities up for grabs.
I don't think it's dead, justtaking a little breather. I think once the madness in the US with the economy recovers we will see more jobs out here
I think once the economy levels out a bit more, things will return to normal. It's that old boom - bust cycle. There are definitely still opportunities out there, they probably just won't fall into your lap quite as easily now.

They understood that, there aren't much talent left in the market, all are already booked and holding multiple offers, and HR's calls are landing to the people who already have offers, and offers are being rejected by candidates at last moment of joining.
Now they will wait till all these super talented people to join somewhere and then they start hiring again.
