I've an interview scheduled for this week with EY for the role of Consultant - Performance Improvement. For first round I was asked to submit a case study solution. I wanted to know how many rounds of interviews would be there and how the overall process would be like since this would be my first experience for consulting interview. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated 😊

Some brief background, I graduated with my Bachelor's in IS and accepted a position at PwC in risk assurance (IT audit). I hope to get the cisa this year. I was curious what my exit ops are. I know typically it's industry IT audit. But curious about other lines of service, either at PwC or another big4. Do I need a CPA to work in other lines of service and what should I focus on to transition as soon as possible? Thanks in advance
Suggestions for handling a peer who constantly uses their years of experience to curtail discussions? Both of us are SM’s leading teams within the same Market so we talk often. This SM will say things like “I have 15 more years of experience than you so I am better at this than you/I know how to handle these things”. It’s infuriating and I often want to respond with “And I’m 15 years younger than you and in the same position, so I must be doing something right!” (Cont)

Any insight into TCS M&A group? They reached out offering $200k for an M&A specialist role and would be a significant jump from my current salary. Unsure what they do in M&A space since they focus largely on delivery vs strategy

I have an exit offer to a major PharmaCo, really excited about the offer and company in another state. The problem is that the start date is right when my wife is due with our first child. Normally nbd, but we just found out that my wife has developed a heart condition because of the pregnancy. OBGYN and Cardiologist both have said that it would be ultra high risk for to move before the baby comes and will be safe 1-2month after. Tips moving the start date without getting the offer pulled?
Is this a lowball offer for an Associate Counsel position at a well-known Phila/Wilmington international media conglomerate? 120k base, 15% bonus, and $20K RSU. (FYI, third-year associate here.) Don’t know if I should walk away if no wiggle room to move up from base or accept just as an entry point. Worried that I’ll be stuck with this as an anchor. Also, if I get promoted to Counsel in a few years, will my salary jump or will it be a small increase? Thanks in advance for any advice/input!

I spent the last 3 months "growing up" & now I'm ready to go. 1st thing is for me to get my own place. I'd like to buy instead of rent because I don't want to pay someone else's mortgage. I'm thinking of selling my car & cash out some of my 401k to buy a house. My thought is to put down 3.5% for a FHA loan then make a big payment towards the principal to reduce long-term interest. Anything wrong with this thinking or anything else I should consider?
