Which role OP? And which team? Nike is usually pretty chill.

Pretty chill overall, but there are definitely outliers that you want to be careful of. DM if you would like to talk further.

Like others have said, it's going to vary based on what part of the business you're on and who your immediate team is. I've had an incredible 9 years but I will tell you the brand is not the same place it once was - both the culture and the work. Happy to direct message if you'd like to talk in more detail.

If you are a contractor, they take wellness weeks off. Contractors do not get compensated and have to take that time off. Employees do. I have a lot of recruiters contacting me about roles there daily and they are usually below market rate. The COL is off the charts here and Oregon is super dangerous. They are on-site or have hybrid. Many roles I get contacted about start at 7AM and if you are a working parent, you can't get your kids in childcare that early to take them to school. I find this a bit exclusionary.

In the midwest, talking to a small agency. If I take a FT role and possibly move in a few months, wondering if they’d be open to me staying on remotely. Everything’s been remote for them for a while anyway and will likely continue to be. Any thoughts on how to approach this scenario? Want to do right, but don’t want to be overly precautious either.

Azure wfh jobs opening ?
I have experience of total 6 years with almost 3 years in cloud ..

Majority of my department has been informed we will need to look for other positions internally due to our jobs being outsourced. The timeframe for the full transition of all work to the vendors is approximately 6 months. This is the second time in 14 months I have had to look for another position due to outsourcing of work. Since I can only work remotely for my company due to location, is it best to resign or to hold out in hopes for a transition to another department?

Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?

Had a remote member of our greater group of companies pass away suddenly last night. Will sit down with my in-person team tomorrow AM and then phone all my remote folks. They have not been closely connected directly but know of this person, on the other side of the country. It will be about letting them know, letting them react as they need, helping them have resources if they want, and being there. Honestly this is the hardest part of leading a team. Puts the rest of the stuff in perspective.

I recently joined citi. I have been given choice for to select superannuation as 13% of BS or 12500/- monthly or zero.

This is one time selection and not reversible.

I need more detail about superannuation and is it beneficial or not?

Also is there any retirement age in IT field 🤔 (or in citi)?

Is it normal to have let down just on one side? I am 1 week postpartum. On day 4, I had to rush to ER for some@severe pain and was stuck there for 5 hours. During this time I had let down just on my right breast. I assumed the lefy one didn’t have any because I had placed a medella soreness gel pad there. Today again j was sleeping and woke up to feed baby. RealIzed I had let down again only on right side despite more having any gel pad. Is this normal? Should i be worried?
