[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

I've heard pretty good things about them. They apparently have a good culture and good WLB. There's a bit of bureaucracy and upper management to deal with, but honestly I prefer those tradeoffs.
IT directors there usually make between $170k-$180k, not sure about in NJ though. Bureaucracy as someone else mentioned is an issue, but somewhat expected imo. Lot of old-school. traditional thinking over there.
Current employee. The above posts are true. It’s a great place to work but can be annoying with the levels of management. But the salary and work life is hard to beat. Let me know if I can help you in any way or share a referral.
Would be ok to DM you Prudential Financial 1 ?
Thanks you both. Appreciate your feedback.
I have a friend that works there! He said the wlb is great and he loves his team. Like E1 said above there can be politics but that feels like any place nowadays. Good luck!
Thanks Md1 - insurance companies titles are bit different for sure!
