I’m almost certain that Reed Smith matched DPW in major markets, but secondary markets have traditionally paid under market.

Pretty sure Reed Smith is headquartered in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Jones Day just gave raises that are closer to “major market”, so it may be because of that. Not sure if they’re lockstep.

RS associate here. They haven’t paid market/lock step in any office except for years 1 & 2. Their recent announcement raised only first years to the new standard though, I assume for recruitment purposes. They’re announcing a new pay scale for everyone else next week but I’m sure it’ll still be under market
