Need help assess an offer from #PwC. Director of M&A IT (DDV - Deliver Deal Value). The offer has base salary (based on cohort - Tier 3 Home City) and sign-up bonus, but does not have the annual bonus structure for Director level at #PwC. HR lady said that they will give you that when you start. I would like that now (written format). She told me verbally the percentages but I do not recall them. Anyone from #PwC has that info in a PDF document?

vs.
Lateral to: AmLaw Top 30.

New firm pays slightly higher salary but still below market.

Current: 1,900 billable
vs.
Lateral to: 1,800.

I’m very comfortable where I’m at. Firm culture and people are great with a solid work/life balance.

The potential new firm *seems* just as great, if not better. But, obvious emphasis on SEEMS.

What has helped y’all make a similar decision?

Hi! Looking for a fully remote role in fintech or a larger/global established organization after working in government for 12 years. Over 10 years as an HRBP/Sr and 2 years in a leadership role. Have my PHR/SHRM-CP and CCP. Love comp but my experience is limited to a smaller organization (500). Have applied to many roles but struggling to even get interviews.

I’m about to demote my title and chop 10 years off my resume. The part that hurts is those years have some great brands and my time at BBDO. But I hear this is the only way to get work again. Ugh.

I keep thinking I’m getting burnt out, but think it’s the crash from my ADHD meds wearing off. Anyone else feel this?

I come from a poor family and so I’m having a hard time justifying paying $4,200 for my apartment with my boyfriend... it’s less than the 25% of gross income rule and we clear all the income requirements but I just feel guilty. Anyone else struggle to pay for nicer things as you got wealthier because you know there’s cheaper out there and you should always be saving more?

How do partners judge laterals that took a class cut? Do you assess them against their class peers or against their years of experience? (Say the person had a LLM or a foreign law degree so they actually have 5 years of experience but are getting billed out as a 3rd year)

Been a PdM for a year, department going through a restructure and have been relegated to Product Owner and stripped of PdM duties. Trying to build myself up in the PdM space but hard to get that experience and if I try and go outside my company everyone is looking for 3-5 years experience. I just switched jobs and took on a PM role in a profile I really wanted. I'm planning to again start job hunting as the there's a big expectation mismatch compared to the reality (project instead of product management).
If i am "open to work" on LinkedIn, but only for the recruiters, does LinkedIn reset the "since" date to 0? Or will it calculate my "open to work" from the previous time (was also only "open to work" for recruiters back then)?
