I just had my annual review with the company I’ve been working at for a year. During the review, I made my requests- one of which is to be promoted to Director of Marketing. (Which is what I’m doing already without the title) Now they are circling back and saying they want another year before promotion. And they want me to sign a non compete. How should I move forward before our next in person meeting? I’m not pleased.

What irks me the most is when companies say they treat everyone like “family” but do things like micromanage you or treat you like crap. Currently work for Legacy as a DPT and when my contract is up in a couple of months I’m out of there! Stay away from this company.

Dual role position for a sub-specialist. It’s a very busy role that includes surgery scheduling , prior auths for surgeries and tests, referrals, returning patient calls regarding their surgeries, and to add to it, reviewing the schedules for out 2 Mds, 2 PA’s, & NP. They want everything done quickly but with also close attention to details but with absolutely no overtime. Right now I make less than I feel appropriate but it’s also more than the other clerical jobs in our corporation.
