Favorite tools to run virtual workshops?

Going on the Jan 26, 2023 Auckland, NZ to Sydney, Aus cruise. Most interesting excursions are already sold out. Suggestions on where to go at each of the ports - Tauranga, Napier, Picton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin? Also, looking to stay in Australia for 10 days post cruise. Thinking about Sidney, Melbourne and Cairns. Suggestions for how long to stay in each city, where to stay and what to do? Are we looking at the best cities to visit for the time we'll be there?

For those of you who have gone the HR consulting route, any advice on starting out? I just fell into an opportunity that is too good to pass up. I'm not planning to leave my day job at this point, but I'm certainly interested in the prospect of growing a consultancy.

What do you do when you have the entire idea, know it's feasible, know it's profitable, and everything else, but don't have all the skills needed to make it happen?

Currently negotiating with a FAANG company who isn’t willing to cover my lease buyout but wants me to move. This just seems odd. I would have thought lease buyout was standard in a relocation package 🙃

Is Affirm to finance a purchase a bad idea if it’s 0% APR and interest? I don’t understand how they make money. If it’s truly free, I’d do it to offset opportunity cost of ROI

This might not be possible, but I would like to know how I would go about getting paperwork about my late grandfather who served in the Navy during WWII. Does anyone know how or even if I could do this?

Is it just me, or is NYC giving out WAY more parking tickets now? We always try and adhere to ASP rules as best we can, but sometimes we miss it. I feel like I’ve racked up 2x tickets from this as I had before the pandemic with the same behavior.

I’m currently interviewing for a hybrid Jr UX Designer role for a fragrance company. The compensation is between 70-80k. I searched the market rate in NYC and the salaries are between 103-120k. I assume this is based on the company, industry, and experience. I have a graphic design background with 10 years experience and have a springboard certification for UX. I don’t want to get low balled as I have been in the past. Is it unreasonable to ask for what’s market value when it’s a team of 5?

Been almost 2 weeks since final round for Bain, recruiter is responsive but keeps telling me they’ll have decisions soon. Seems like I’m on the waitlist if not enough people accept? No other idea why they’d be stringing me along this far, but any action I should be taking?

Just signed a specialist offer at Mck for November start at 165, but seeing that in 2022 the associate salaries jump to 175. Anyone know if this will be adjusted for me or am I screwed?
