Good morning, I have a BS in Health Education and Promotion and I’ve been working in various clinical settings since 2016. I feel as though I have enough experience to land a role well into the 80-100K salary base. What are some certifications or jobs without certificates that I could apply for that will get me where I want to be? I do enjoy healthcare admin but I also don’t mind branching out (preferably non-tech). Also, I am currently a clinical program manager.. Thank you in advance ☺️

Moving from consulting to startup. Role is pretty much everything from product management, sales, finance, process improvement etc...Career killer? ~400 people start up with 6 US offices and 1 int’l.

Have been thinking about making a move from clinical director in an outpatient ortho setting for a non clinical role. Does anyone have any suggestions for non clinical options out there for a PT, DPT with 10+ years of clinical and management experience??

How long is too long in mid-level strategy role? I've avoided greater responsibility and haven't got much experience leading/growing juniors. I

Prepping for interviews and am just now noticing the insane amount of prep needed for Amazon / AWS. 14 leadership principles, with each position having about ~10 key ones, and interviewers asking about 2 stories for each. So 20 stories. Not to mention the technical component which requires a formal education or years of work experience.

This, as opposed to McKinsey, which has 3 key principles, with interviewers asking 1, MAYBE 2 stories each. So up to 6 needed.

The difference is insane.

Have an offer for operations director level role with real P&L ownership in mutli site operations space. Problem is cash comp feels low (prob 15% lower than I make now, would be much lower post promo) a lot of travel (driving 4+ hours one way prob every other week), and equity doesn’t vest for 5 years (although it is a good amount of equity with decent but not great upside potential). Worth the pay cut to get real ops experience? Or not that valuable relative to staying where I’m at?

Have to make a 15 minute presentation on any topic for an interview. Anyone have any suggestions. I’m really struggling with this one.

What do you do when you’re an experienced hire who just joined a new team and it’s already in disarray/client has a bad impression of the team. I’m nowhere near the most senior on staff and as much as I’d love to take lead - I don’t have the “authority” to make changes and I don’t want to come off as too negative. I can’t deal with a whole year of a badly managed team. Ideas?
