I have been working with EY for around 1 year now. My current package is 3.6 LPA which i feel like very much under paid as i joined after completing Mcom. I got onboarded as a staff 1. How much should be the market standard salary and position that i should be getting. Can anyone please help in getting an idea as i am really feeling like i am getting no result even after doing a lot of hardwork into delivering high quality work.

Can I leave after 2 days of joining? The role is not suitable for me.

I was interviewed for SAP PP role in TCS and cleared all rounds last month on 24th August. Last week (9 sept) there was Salary negotiation and it was also done... Still didn't get any offer break up from TCS as per discussion till now. What to expect and what is next process now... Can someone help?

Working Canadian big law. Really burnt out and not enjoying work. Very understaffed and work product is suffering. Partners not hiring new associates, classic toxic work/availability expectations etc etc. have an opportunity to work with a boutique firm, make same amount making now but plus % of billables. Smaller deals and less sophisticated but opportunity to help grow the firm and be more entrepreneurial. Weekends generally protected and lower yearly target. What would you do?

How would you approach an interview process where the company sounds exciting but you feel confident the role would not be a growth opportunity for your skill set? Is there a good way to respectfully approach that topic with the interview team and find a role that might be more exciting for you? Or is it better to walk away?

Buy side alts investment manager, associate role (3 YOE). Requires data & programming skills. VHCOL. What is good comp?

Two recruiters have told me that specific major national firms refuse to interview any current or former employees of the firm I work for. is this a big problem or something usual for firms? Panic set in and I’m worried I won’t find decent employment. Current role is underpaying and workload is unmanageable with zero sign of improvement.

So guess what....I wanted to start my career in the field of ML and Data Science. Got enrolled in a PG certificate program for the same.

My question is with my YOE being only 1.5 years as an application developer, will the program even benefit me? I do feel confident with my knowledge but anywhere I see , they ask like 3-5 YOE for a decent salary say 8lpa+.
