I am interviewing with Amazon next week for a HR Contact Center Associate - ERC DLS Support role. I have never interviewed with/worked for Amazon so I've been searching for info here, binging YouTube guides, & googling everything. My brain is numb. LPs, loops, bar raisers...so much jargon. I need a little encouragement & maybe some insight. Does anyone have experience with this role & the interview process? Is it as intimidating as it seems? Any tips you wish you'd known? Thank you! 🌸
Hi all, I am currently a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, and recently graduated with an MBA in Managerial Analytics. I have many jobs prospects align, one of which is a Reporting & Billing Analyst position at a big Financial corporation I am interviewing for next week. I’m trying to gauge salary expectations as a workers comp supervisor/manager. I have 7 years experience, all in California workers comp, and the last 2 years have been as a supervisor/manager. I have 3 designations and experience with difficult, technical files. What do you or your counterparts make in a similar role? What’s a ballpark I should expect to be in?
Shower thought: Why did Toronto (or Canada?) change the exit signs from the classic red EXIT sign to the green running man? Wouldn’t it confuse more people especially elders in finding the exit? Also isn’t it a waste of money for businesses to replace perfectly functional exit signs when renovating?

A word to recruiters out there: I got an email today letting me know a company passed on me, and even though it was clearly an automated email, the gratitude I felt for that simple act of decency overwhelmed me. That's how far your profession has sunk. Every candidate you ghost, especially after talking to them excitedly about a position, is a candidate who walks away from the experience thinking you and the company you represent are absolute trash. Please do better.

My company matches every volunteer hour an employee does at $25 an hour up to 15k. Let’s say I volunteer for 500 hours and they match $7,500. Would I be able to claim that $7,500 when it comes to taxes? Or does my company claim it? Just trying to understand tax benefits. Gonna volunteer regardless
