I just applied for the early career - strategy & ESG analyst this weekend, and I am wondering what to expect. I just received my MBA this month, and I have a certificate in data analytics as well. No prior relevant experience though.

MMED OP here, just sold a bit more than half my positions. I think it’s still got room to go, but personal circumstances say i should reduce some of my more volatile holdings (just crossed threshhold i wanted for downpyment on a new condo).

I’m a Junior right now and I’m thinking about my career growth. I’m planning at staying at my currently company at least until I become Analyst. I love R/GA and the work I do but I want to make sure I’m getting compensated fairly throughout my career. I’ve been think I’ll stay until I’m a Senior and then when I’m ready to be manager, I’ll start looking around and then possibly come back. When do I jump ship? Do I stay forever? Any personal experiences?

Any other hiring managers feeling like all of your candidates are asking for more money last minute just to see how far they can go? Like if we say the range is 110-130K, they say they’re looking for 135K, you offer 135K and then they say they won’t take the job for less than 150? Not even with competing offers. It’s hard for me to stay excited about wanting to work with someone when they do that. What a waste of everyone’s time.

Tips on starting the job hunt process? Like most everyone I'd like to move on to less hours more life, but the process is overwhelming me. I do a good job but I'm so jaded right now from being burnt out I'm anxious I'll make a bad impression on recruiters. Plus there's so many of them I don't know who to reach out to! I'm also very suspicious of any positions at smaller firms, are they actually better or another lie... Senior level, would like to stay in tax.

Designers: how many unique projects do you typically work on daily? I’m 5 years in with my company, am the sole graphic designer for about 34 clients, and am working on 5-7 (sometimes 10) different projects with completely different branding on the daily. I feel like my brain is at capacity. Is this normal? Sometimes I wake up afraid I won’t be able to be creative that day 😭
