I told my partner I had a medical procedure that would be three weeks and I couldn't travel, but that I could work remotely. He asked no questions.
You are not obligated to share details. Don't let guilt force you into sharing anymore that you feel comfortable. It's no one's business but yours.
If they push simply say "I'm not comfortable sharing the details.".
This is more important than work. You make it a priority.
It sucked, but doable. Bring all the needles and meds on the road and make public bathrooms your jam.
My boss knows, did it already three times (all failed) will try soon a fourth time. No problems at all. I was pretty open at office about it. And.. To my surprise a ton more people did it then you would have thought! They just don't talk about it lol
Am considering but would never disclose to anyone. It’s medically related and no one needs to know aside me and my doctor.
No need to tell anyone why, but I think it helps (everyone) to talk about it. A lot more people did it (or tried it) than you might think!
